Several pages from the daily newspaper "Le Progres. Journal de Lyon" The article of horological interest listed above is on page 5. Article is a report on the Congres which was attended by delegates from Britain, Switzerland and Italy, among them, physicians from the National Physics Laboratory and Major Cowan from the BHI A lecture on the history of horology was given by Mr Alan Lloyd and is also repoted. Also included is a piece torn from a newspaper of roughly the same date, showing the XVth century treadmill in the cathedral of Beauvais being used to dismantle the clock and install "le premier carillon electrique commande a distance."
