The pamplet, dated 1862, is divided into the following sections or chapters; 1."Time". pp.1-6. A brief illustrated history of time, time measurement instruments and movements. 2. "Church, Turret, or Public Clocks", pp.7-8. Two pages on this subject illustrated with a Benson flat bed turret clock. 3. "Drawing-Room Clocks", pp. 9-16. Examples illustrated all of French origin, gilded ornamental cases with figures and porcelain panels. Price list included. 4. "Library and Dining-Room Clocks", pp. 17-20. More clocks of French origin in black slate or wood cases. Price list included. 5. "Hall and Staircase Clocks", p. 21. Large London made fusee table clock illustrated with price. 6.
