Hand written from 36 Trinity College, Dublin. Mostly concerned with the work of Paul Ditisheim as follows; The date when PD gave up watch manufacturing; his watches in the NPL trials during the 1920s; the type of balances used in these watches; his watches sprung by W.A.Dubois; Dubois and the Solvil Co.; the date PD left the Solvil Co and began manufacturing oils; the different oils manufactured DT continues with his recollections of the other Ditisheim brothers, Henri (maker of "pendulettes"), Georges and Maurice; his many meetings with Henri in La Chaux-de Fonds. DT's wish to compile a complete bibliography of the writings of Ditisheim "but its hardly possible".; asks CI for information about any writings in Journal Suisse and Annales Francais de Chronometrie before 1935; Concludes with the circumstances of P. Ditisheims departure from Solvil & Co ("some matter of principle - - a shoddy watch using his name as a bait"); the disclaimer that appeared in Swiss papers in the month PD died. A brief post script is a correction of the date PD left the Board of the Solvil Co. (1929)
