The Diploma in Clock and Watch Servicing - Level 3 - Technician Grade
The Institute worked closely with industry and the awarding body EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd) to accredit this qualification for clock and watch technicians.
You have to pass two mandatory units and one optional unit:

| D1: Theory of Clock and Watch Servicing | 2.5 hour theory examination at an Examination Centre |
| D2: Construction of Clock Components | 2 weeks to make a test piece using your own workshop |

| D3: Servicing and Correcting Faults in a Single Train Clock Movement | 8 hours servicing test at an Examination Centre |
| D4: Servicing and Correcting Faults in a Quartz Watch | 6 hours servicing test at an Examination Centre |
