The Diploma in Clock and Watch Servicing - Level 3 - Technician Grade

The Institute worked closely with industry and the awarding body EAL (EMTA Awards Ltd) to accredit this qualification for clock and watch technicians.

You have to pass two mandatory units and one optional unit:

UnitExamination
Mandatory Units (you must pass both)
D1: Theory of Clock and Watch Servicing 2.5 hour theory examination at an Examination Centre
D2: Construction of Clock Components 2 weeks to make a test piece using your own workshop
 
Optional Units (you must pass one)
D3: Servicing and Correcting Faults in a Single Train Clock Movement 8 hours servicing test at an Examination Centre
D4: Servicing and Correcting Faults in a Quartz Watch 6 hours servicing test at an Examination Centre
