Not really concerned with horology, this is a precis of the catalogue of the exhibition of the same name in London in 1902 (Pub. B.T.Batsford, 1903). Included in the exhibition was, "a remarkable clock of ebony and silver, finely decorated, made for William 111 by Thomas Tompion, and costing #1,500 to make;" (No illustration) In the "Notes" section is a photograph of a longcase clock by William Gibbs, London, with some information on its history.
