"A Table of Trains for Watches, published by William Shirt, Watch and Clock Maker, No. 10, City Road, shewing the Number of Turns on the Fusee and Teeth in the Balance-Wheel, with the Beats in an Hour, and in the Number of Seconds in which the Contrite or Fourth Wheel revolves, for the easy Timeing of Watches by the Vibrations of the Pendulum." On the reverse of the card is some information headed, "To The Trade" and stating that the Card was originally published for the use of Finishers.

A handwritten document in ink in an unknown hand with a reference to; "Set the Watches by Mr Graham's Regulator". This is possibly the earliest use of the word "Regulator". The document is a minute by minute instruction on the observations to be made during the eclipse There are some pencil notes dated 19th November, 1876, possibly made during another eclipse.

This volume also includes, "Other end of book upside down, Foreign Watches".
