"Fifteen Guineas were this session voted to Mr Adam Reid, of Green's End, Woolwich, for a Compensation Pendulum for a Clock."

Description of a zinc and iron half seconds pendulum, accompanied by an engraving of the features.

Also included in these pages, a description of Mr. Spark's Noctuary, "for ascertaining the hour at night, by an apparatus connected with a common watch".  Illustrated on the same page as the pendulum.  The Silver medal was awarded.
