The pamplet, dated 1862, is divided into the following sections or chapters; 1."Time". pp.1-6. A brief illustrated history of time, time measurement instruments and movements. 2. "Church, Turret, or Public Clocks", pp.7-8. Two pages on this subject illustrated with a Benson flat bed turret clock. 3. "Drawing-Room Clocks", pp. 9-16. Examples illustrated all of French origin, gilded ornamental cases with figures and porcelain panels. Price list included. 4. "Library and Dining-Room Clocks", pp. 17-20. More clocks of French origin in black slate or wood cases. Price list included.
